Topolo for ChatGPT
We are building a ChatGPT integration that will bring your authorized Topolo applications into ChatGPT through one Model Context Protocol (MCP) connection. It is designed to let you look up workspace data, understand what each application can do, and coordinate work without installing a separate integration for every app.

What the integration is designed to do

Discover authorized applications
Find the Topolo applications and actions available to your signed-in identity, limited to the organization and permissions you choose.
Read, plan, and act
Look up records, inspect published action schemas, validate a proposed change, and run an authorized action after you confirm it.
Approval for consequential actions
We intend for actions started from ChatGPT to follow your organization’s Topolo approval policy, using Topolo’s agent approval and passkey verification where your organization requires human approval.
Designed to keep your data and permissions under your control
As designed, Topolo will check the signed-in identity, organization and application permissions on each request, and each application will continue to enforce its own resource authorization. The connection is designed so that ChatGPT cannot gain access to another organization simply by asking for it.
Confirming an action in ChatGPT will not count as a Topolo human approval. Protected operations will still need to pass your organization’s Topolo approval policy, and sign-in and permissions will be managed in Topolo.
Connection and availability
Topolo for ChatGPT will become available only after OAuth sign-in from ChatGPT is live in production, security testing is complete, and the app has passed OpenAI’s review.
Existing Topolo customers can already connect Topolo’s MCP server and command-line tools with credentials scoped in Topolo. That access is separate from this planned ChatGPT integration.
